The Startup States Society is a think tank and policy institute dedicated to the promulgation and proliferation of new, independent, self-governing countries. These countries are designed from first principles and formed through lawful, peaceful treaties—not through secession, conquest, or coercion—but by mutual consent. They are built with an entrepreneurial ethos, modular governance, and market-aligned incentives, offering a fresh, legal, ethical, and deliberately forged model for prosperity, liberty, and long-term resilience.

Startup States are established in the world as it exists—grounded in existing international frameworks—yet driven by innovation. They demonstrate what becomes possible when new countries are created intentionally, with the shared will of their founders and sovereign partners.
